Formerly a World War II Navy Base, the Orlando Sanford International Airport has become a burgeoning
economic service engine for the City of Sanford and surrounding areas.
In less than a decade, three terminal expansions, a new road network, cargo facilities, additional
landing technology, added customs and FAA tower programs, and a new parking deck, now provide quick,
state of the art service to over 2 million passengers annually. Both International Charter flights,
Scheduled International flights and Domestic flights are serviced out of OSIA.
