Seminole County Foreign-Trade Zones & Industrial Parks

Great Locations, Big Tax Savings, and Room to Grow

Eight Outstanding Sites with Convenient Transportation Access

Foreign-Trade Zones offer companies who manufacture, import or repurpose/repackage using parts or materials from outside the country, an attractive opportunity to save on taxes and pass on the savings to their customers.

Seminole County’s Foreign Trade Zone is one of the newest and largest in the nation, offering eight premium commercial/industrial sites. It includes water access to the St. John’s River and Lake Monroe at the Port of Sanford and runway access at the Orlando Sanford International Airport Commerce Park. Other locations provide easy access to the high-tech Interstate 4 corridor as well as the University of Central Florida’s Research Park.

The Foreign-Trade Zones Act was created to “expedite and encourage foreign commerce” in the United States. This is accomplished through the designation of geographical areas in or adjacent to Customs Ports of Entry where commercial merchandise receives the same Customs Treatment it would if it were outside the commerce of the US.

If your company uses imported goods and you’re in the market to relocate, check out how the advantages of the Seminole County Foreign Trade Zone will apply to your particular business. There is existing space available in the FTZ, as well as developed sites for custom construction.
