The Golden Age Games are the "Nation's Oldest Senior Games".
The games are held in Sanford, Florida.
Sanford is the county seat of Seminole County and conveniently located between Daytona Beach and Orlando.
The Games are held annually around the first week of November. This year, the Golden Age Games are being held on October 31st,2009 and the dates of November 7th through November 12th, 2009. The top five in each event and age group qualify to compete in the Florida Senior Games State Championships. This year, the State Championship will be held from December 5th through December 13th, 2009 in Lee County and the City of Cape Coral Florida.
