Citizen's Advisory Board
The Citizen's Advisory Board has been created and established to present suggestions, concerns and recommendations to the Chief of Police and City commission regarding law enforcement needs.

We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Sanford Police and Fire Headquarters, 1st Floor – 815 W. 13th Street, Sanford.
I am Helen Mausser, Chairman of the Citizen's Advisory Board. I have served on the Board since January 17th 2005.

Our goal is to represent the citizens of Sanford with recommendations and concerns for our city and neighborhoods.

I serve with nine other board members who represent a cross section of the city of Sanford.
Katheryn Alexander - District 2
Steve Chusmir - District 1
Steve Esler - District 4
Trace Trylko - District 4
Betty Jack - District 3
Carsandra Buie - District 1
Joe Torresin - District 2
John Wright, Jr. - District 4

We are instrumental in drawing neighborhoods together to be the eyes and ears of the S.P.D. by conducting open board meetings in each of the districts of the city quarterly.
Comments or concerns that you wish to have addressed at the next board meeting can be sent to
