Sanford Career Offenders

The mission of the Sanford Police Department’s Criminal Repeat Offender Program is to promote a partnership between members of the Sanford Police Department, the 18th Circuit Judicial Courts System (juvenile and adult), Seminole County Sheriffs Office, Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Corrections and the residents and visitors of our community. The goal of the program is to bring together resources from the multiple agencies to present a collective process and method of information sharing, cooperation, and coordination leading to improved problem solving methods regarding the identification and relentless prosecution of Violent Career Criminals, Habitual Violent Felony Offenders, Habitual Felony Offenders, Prison Releasee Reoffenders, Offenders involved in Firearm Related Activity, Sexual Offenders/Predators, Registered Felons and Gang Affiliated Offenders, to reduce violence and restore security to our neighborhoods, workplaces, and schools, thus leading to the improvement of public safety for all within the community.

We at the Sanford Police Department have increased our commitment to keep the community informed regarding the "career offenders" residing within the City of Sanford. We are providing you this information on convicted career offenders which currently reside within our community. By providing this information to you, the residents, it is our hope it will further strengthen the bond and continue to increase communication between the members of the Sanford Police Department and the citizens and visitors of Sanford.

Positive identification of any of these subjects cannot be established unless a fingerprint comparison is made. It is illegal to use public information regarding a career offender to facilitate the commission of a crime.
