Qualifications:

Police Officer applicants MUST:

Be at least 21 years of age
Be a citizen of the United States
Have high school diploma or equivalency
Successfully completed Florida Police Standards Training
Be in good physical condition
20/40 corrected vision
Honorable Armed Forces Discharge (if applicable)
Meet Drug Usage Standards / Pass Drug Screen
Be in compliance with City of Sanford's Tobacco Abstention Policy of one year
