Qualifications:
Police Officer applicants MUST:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Have high school diploma or equivalency
- Successfully completed Florida Police Standards Training
- Be in good physical condition
- 20/40 corrected vision
- Honorable Armed Forces Discharge (if applicable)
- Meet Drug Usage Standards / Pass Drug Screen
- Be in compliance with City of Sanford's Tobacco Abstention Policy of one year
